PROVIDENCE, RI — Rhode Island Quality Institute (RIQI) is now receiving COVID-19 lab test result data from East Side Clinical Laboratory (ESCL) in its COVID-19 Dashboard for both CurrentCare and non-CurrentCare enrolled patients. Test results include PreK-12 students and staff antigen tests. In addition to ESCL, RIQI’s COVID-19 Dashboard is also receiving test result data from Coastal Medical Laboratories. RIQI is actively working with Dominion Diagnostics to share their COVID-19 lab test result data.

The COVID-19 Dashboard receives data from participating partners and displays information that is specific to each provider. This helps the Rhode Island medical community understand the needs and risks of their patient population so they can provide more effective and efficient care.

“Essential to the control of the spread of COVID-19 is access to SARS-CoV-2 diagnostic test results. We are pleased to now be able to provide results from ESCL, one of Rhode Island’s largest testing providers, and Costal Medical Laboratories, directly to patients and clinicians. With Dominion Diagnostics SARS-CoV-2 diagnostic test results expected to come online in near future, this exemplifies RIQI’s capabilities as the state-designated Regional Health Information Organization to support the information needs of the Rhode Island public health and medical communities,” said Neil Sarkar, PhD, President & CEO, RIQI.
